Spina Bifida is a congenital defect caused by imcomplete formation of the netral tube,in which the vertebral columnis not fully closed, resulting in protrusion of the meninges and sometimes the spinal cord. Damagethat exposed spinal cord can cause neurological adnormalities,including paralysis.
