How to stop the Dubai Taxi driver menace ?

The taxi drivers are not just Pakistani but also Egyptian (Arabs)- Taxi drivers really need to be tamed. I am a young woman and personally- even Sharjah cabbies are perves!! They talk in a sluggish manner, keep adjusting the rear-view mirror to look at the lady penger, touch your hand while ping the change, ask personal questions which are none of their business, etc. The police are of no help!!- Instead they tell u on the phone to come down to the station and file a complaint!! And, even then no action is taken. There have been instances when taxis prefer going empty than stopping for desperate customers- wtf!! These drivers are doing us no favor- I don't get why they can't do their JOBS right- they make me sic to my stomach. The lady-driven pink-taxis were utterly bogus- I recall an incident where the lady-driver stopped us at a gas station to fix a tire and she held us up for 20 minutes (NO JOKE!)- TG they stopped all pink taxis. What they need to do = is incorporate SEVERE PUNISHMENT to ALL MEN (not just taxi drivers) who ACT IN A PERVERTED MANNER to Women... this includes indecent bosses, crazy interviewers, loitering laborers, etc. WE NEED ACTION NOW!!
